Tristy co-leads the Science Connect business unit within the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. Science Connect delivers mature science and innovation-based products and services to established national and international markets. These businesses are CSIRO Education & Outreach, CSIRO Futures, Infrastructure Technologies, CSIRO Publishing and SME Connect.

Tristy has held senior legal and commercial roles for over 15 years in Australia and the US with deep experience in all aspects of conducting research and translating innovation into impact. Prior to joining Science Connect Tristy was CSIRO’s Senior Technical Adviser to Boeing based in Seattle, USA.

Tristy, GAICD, is a Director of CSIRO General Partner Pty Ltd, an investment company into Main Sequence Ventures a venture capital firm designed for investment into Australian deep tech.

Tristy is a leader and champion of diversity. She is passionate about amplifying the impact of innovation and technology in order to solve the world’s greatest challenges.
