Tara French is Managing Director of Cazaly Resources and Non-Executive Director of Lefroy Exploration. Tara French has 28 years of mining and exploration experience, primarily focused on Western Australia. Prior to joining Cazaly Resources, she held the esteemed position of General Manager of Exploration at Regis Resources Limited, where she led a large team for a 14-year tenure. During her time at Regis, Tara played a key role in driving the company’s transition and growth. With a comprehensive background in project evaluation, resource estimation, and both open-cut and underground mining operations, Tara has showcased her proficiency across a range of commodities, including gold, nickel, and copper. Her expertise in these areas has been honed through practical experience and is complemented by her honours degree in Economic Metalliferous Geology.Tara is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She possesses a solid understanding of corporate governance principles, contributing to her well-rounded skill set as a professional geologist.
