Tammy Ryder joined Vicinity Centres in January 2025 as Chief People
Officer. She has over 20 years’ experience in leading Human Resources functions through large-scale change and strategic program delivery.
Prior to joining Vicinity, Tammy spent over 7 years at Coles Group in several senior roles including General Manager People and Culture Operations, leading the people strategy for over 115,000 team members. Prior to this Tammy was General Manager, P&C Central leading Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Workplace Relations, and core People services (P&C Direct) in 2019, and led the implementation of
the Human Resources Information System for the Group. She played a key role in the people response during COVID, including the recruiting of 12,000 team members in six weeks. Tammy has also led the Award Covered Salary payroll review, subsequent Remediation, and management of legal and regulatory proceedings and has played an integral role in the successful joint venture formation in involving the Hotels Business with Aus Venue Co.
Prior to joining Coles, Tammy was the General Manager, People with Minor DKL who’s stable of brands include Coffee Club, Ribs and Rumps and Nomad Coffee Roasters. She was the Executive
People Manager for Lorna Jane, a leading Australian retailer of activewear and lifestyle products. She started her career with Hungry Jack’s Australia, where she performed a range of operational roles at
Regional and State level prior to becoming the National Human Resources Manager.
Tammy is passionate about people and performance, and leading large-scale change management initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the teams and businesses she leads.
