Rebecca has more than twenty years’ experience as a lawyer and commercial leader on large-scale infrastructure, resource and energy projects and technology transactions. Her experience includes legal, project structuring and management, procurement and public company directorship. She currently leads Fortescue’s global Contracts and Procurement team, overseeing strategic sourcing and contracting strategy for global project construction, equipment, fleet, operations and corporate requirements for both Metals and Energy divisions.

Since joining Fortescue in 2011, Rebecca has held a variety of delivery, strategy, and corporate roles including lead legal and contracts support for the T155 capital expansion program including mine, rail and port infrastructure, Project Delivery Lead for Towage and GM Legal, Contracts and Procurement for Major Projects. Prior to Fortescue, Rebecca was a Senior Associate in the Construction and Major Projects team at Clayton Utz, a Band 1 Construction and Infrastructure law practice ranked by Chambers and Partners.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business (University of Cambridge) and is undertaking a Masters in Law (University of Melbourne).
She is inspired and passionate about improving on Fortescue’s innovative, fast and economical large-scale project delivery performance to enable industry transformation and safeguard the planet for future generations.
