Rachel Burton leads the People team for Meta in Asia Pacific. Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities and grow businesses. When Facebook launched in 2004, it changed the way people connect. Apps like Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp further empowered billions around the world. Now, Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology.
Prior to her current role, she led the Meta EMEA Tech team HR strategy to double in size to 4,500 people within two years. Over the last twenty years, she has developed expertise in all aspects of people and talent strategy through a combination of industry and consulting experience in world-class businesses, including Google, Diageo and Ernst & Young. Rachel currently lives with her family in Singapore.
