Meredith was a founding partner of the Perth office of global law firm, Allen & Overy (now Allen Overy Shearman Sterling). Meredith is now a non-executive director and provides legal consulting services, specialising in corporate, ECM and M&A work, with a focus on the energy and resources sector. She has advised on an extensive range of both local and international commercial transactions, including takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, capital raisings, shareholders agreements, joint ventures and mining operational agreements.

Meredith was included in the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining and is ranked in Chambers, Legal 500 and Australia’s Best Lawyers. She was awarded “Best in Energy & Natural Resources” at the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards in 2018 and was an integral part of the team that won “Energy & Resources Team of the Year” at the Australian Law Awards in 2018.

A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Meredith established a Female Lawyers Lunch Forum series within Allen & Overy’s Perth office and was the firm’s Perth partner representative on the pro bono and community committee which provides legal pro bono assistance, community support including volunteering and raises funds for local and international charities.
