Lucinda Longcroft is a global technology and innovation strategist with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning the intersection of technology, law, and policy governance across the US, Europe, and Australia. As a former UN executive and Google's Director of Government Affairs for Australia and New Zealand, she has navigated complex regulatory landscapes during pivotal industry transformations, including leading Google through intense scrutiny around the News Media Bargaining Code and emerging AI regulations. Her career includes two decades at the UN's World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), where she shaped international frameworks for intellectual property and innovation, and senior advisory roles at the UN headquarters. Currently serving as an independent advisor on innovation, AI and digital transformation, Lucinda combines her legal expertise as an attorney admitted in New York and NSW with strategic influence-building capabilities, enabling her to bridge governments and companies, policy and practice, while championing inclusive leadership and principled innovation that serves both business objectives and societal needs.
