Leora Givoni is the Founder and Director of Small Act Major Impact, a consultancy that focuses on extracting powerful messages for both individuals and teams from some of Australia’s largest private and public companies including banks, airlines, legal firms and packaging companies. Before launching her marketing and communications business in 2005, she worked in public relations and then moved in house to head up the marketing and communications team at Visy Recycling for over eight years. Today she offers workshops and coaching to a wide range of profit and not-for-profit businesses across Australia. She is a communications expert who is passionate about the impact language has on one’s personal and company brand. Her behavioural change campaigns led her to being flown to London where she was asked to present the ‘science behind her impact”. Understanding that every business and human being have their own story to tell, Leora revels in the opportunity to assist people and companies have their brand, products and services stand out in front of their desired audiences. Leora has been nominated for three Telstra Business Awards, holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Communications, has a Certificate in Executive Coaching and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also has a strong background in Corporate Social Responsibility and contributes her time and expertise to a variety of charities on a regular basis. She has been on the Development Board for the Centre for Community Child Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital for over eight years and was appointed to the Board of the 16th Street Foundation in December 2016. She is a Fellow of, and judge for the Australian Marketing Institute. Leora is also a qualified meditation teacher having recently graduated from the Chopra Centre in California.
