Lee is an experienced executive leader with a legal background and 20+ years of senior management experience predominantly in the HR, people and culture transformation space including health and safety and change management. Lee holds a law degree from the University of Canterbury and has held roles in a range of publicly listed, government and privately held organisations.
Lee is currently the GM Social Infrastructure and Transformation leading a business unit that provides build and maintain services to central government agencies including NZ Police, Oranga Tamariki, Department of Conservation, Department of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Education and others.
Lee is passionate about organisational success through robust people practices and for supporting the leaders of today whilst building the leaders of tomorrow. She is a strategic thinker, a strong executor, a high-performance team builder and an energy generator. She challenges the status quo and constantly works for improvement and positive change within organisations.
Lee is Ngāti Tuwharetoa and is a champion for Māori development and achievement, equity and inclusion and is an ally of the LGBTQA community.
Lee started her governance career by being an Associate Director on the Citycare Board of Directors in 2021.
