Kerrynne Liddle
Senator Kerrynne Liddle - Senator for South Australia
South Australia is the only place on earth I want to live, work and play.
Elected to represent South Australians in the Commonwealth Parliament in May 2022, I officially took on the role of Senator for South Australia, on 1 July 2022.
I have raised a family in SA, completed my university studies at two of our fine learning institutions, built a successful small business as well as having worked in SA-based global companies and a variety
of not-for-profit organisations.
My eclectic mix of experience, at mainly senior leadership levels, across a wide range of sectors, from education and employment, energy, tourism, the arts, promotion, and publishing, to social
housing, the environment, relationships, and sexual health, provides a contribution, exposure, and wealth of experience to many issues important to all South Australians.
As well as work the work in the Senate, I have been appointed to four Parliamentary Committees:
• Senate Committee on Education and Employment.
• Senate Standing Committee of Senators’ Interests.
• Joint Standing Committee for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
• Joint Standing Committee for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of South Australia, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide, completed a Vincent Fairfax Foundation Ethics
Fellowship and I am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
I am the first Indigenous Federal parliamentarian elected in SA; however, I am a Senator for all South Australians.
