Managing Director

New Work Consulting

Julissa Shrewsbury is the Managing Director of New Work Consulting, a specialist advisory working with organisations on how their people represent themselves and the company brand, and how they build cultures led by clear brand messaging. Julissa has developed the Brand-Culture Connection Framework to assist boards and executive teams to assess how closely the insides of the organisation match the outsides – how well the culture delivers on the brand promise.

Julissa has worked with organisations of all sizes and in a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on professional services, resources and infrastructure. She brings over 20 years’ experience in education and 15 years delivering strategy consulting, workshops and keynotes for clients around Australia and beyond. She has presented for INSEAD’s MBA global alumni, The Singapore Institute of Directors, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and many more.

Her articles and commentary have been published in various media and professional journals, including The Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Magazine, and she has published two non-fiction books and contributed to two anthologies. The first of her family to be born in Australia, Julissa is a proud Argentinian-Australian and explores the subjects of migration and culture in her personal creative projects.
