Juanita Ielasi is the General Manager for Health + Education at Downer, a role she has held since 2024.
Downer designs, builds and sustains assets, infrastructure and facilities and are the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. Downer Group employs over 26,000 people across more than 700 sites, primarily in Australia and New Zealand.

Juanita is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organisations. Juanita has previously held significant positions such as Group General Manager of Hospital Operations and Program Director for Workforce Optimisation at Healthscope. Additional roles include Board Director at Clayton Church Homes Inc., Executive Healthcare Consultant, and Chief Executive
Officer at Calvary Health Care. Notably, Juanita was the Executive Project Lead for the design and construction of a $350 million acute care hospital in Adelaide.
