Jenet is a senior executive with two decades of leadership experience across the Australian Public Service, having worked at six departments and agencies including the Department of Finance and the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Prior to the APS she worked in the private sector and in state governments in Western Australia and Victoria. With a master’s degree in Organisational Psychology, she has a passion for helping organisations achieve their highest level of performance through their systems, people and processes.
At the ABS, Jenet led the Statistical Business Transformation Program and the establishment of the Data Profession on behalf of the APS. Since transitioning from the APS, she has focused on giving back through consulting and mentoring, including a specialised practice supporting incoming Senior Executive Service officers and an appointment as Adjunct/Associate Professor at the University of Canberra. Jenet brings a people-centred approach grounded in practical experience across policy, operations and organisational change.
