Helen is an accomplished company director with a decade of experience in governance roles across private, government, listed and not for profit organisations. Helen currently serves as the Chair of Bank of us and as a non executive director on the boards of Hydro Tasmania and Hockey Australia. Prior to becoming a company director, Helen held senior roles in Asia at Marina Bay Sands, Sands China and Wynn Macau.

Helen views a board as a “multi-brained human,” requiring diverse perspectives and strong collaboration to guide complex organisation's effectively. She brings core skills of commercial strategy, finance, information systems and analytics to the organisations she works with. She is well versed in rapidly changing regulatory environments and finds them intellectually stimulating.

Helen is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and also completed its ‘Role of the Chair’ course. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Systems. Her commitment to continuous learning includes an executive development program with University of Nevada, and numerous data mining and data modelling courses with SAS Institute. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Behavioural Economics.

Beyond professional pursuits, Helen actively plays hockey every weekend in a local league. She also serves as Chair of the Finance Audit Risk Management Committee of Hockey Australia, this voluntary role allows Helen to contribute her financial and governance skills to the sport she loves at a national and international level.
