Emma is values-driven leader and passionate advocate for the arts. Her experience over the past 18 years has encompassed advocacy, strategic planning, business development and fundraising, marketing and communications across the higher education, manufacturing, not for profit and arts sectors.

Emma’s commitment to inclusion and the transformative power of the arts led to a postgraduate degree in Art History, Board positions within the arts and disability sectors and a leadership role at the Art Gallery of South Australia. Now as CEO of Guildhouse, South Australia’s peak body for visual artists, craftspeople and designers Emma has led a period of effective advocacy, successfully increasing engagement with the artistic community and audiences, grown partnerships, and diversified revenue generation through philanthropy and social enterprise.
