Emily Roberts brings over 20 years of experience in Payments & Financial Services, Retail, and Consulting, with a proven track record as both a Senior Executive and Executive Director. A significant portion of her career has been spent at American Express in Australia, where she led each of the major lines of business and held key regional roles across the APAC region.

Throughout her career, Emily has developed strong general management expertise, specialising in core strategic functions such as business development, complex partner negotiations, marketing, sales strategy, and operations. Her background in consumer insights has shaped her data-driven, customer-centric approach, consistently delivering business growth and driving significant improvements in customer satisfaction (NPS) across the divisions she has led.

As a seasoned leader, Emily excels at managing multicultural, multi-functional, and geographically dispersed teams. She is known for her ability to identify and nurture talent while fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance.

A passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Emily has played an active role in supporting the LGBQTI+ community as Executive Sponsor of PRIDE at American Express. She is also a founding Executive Sponsor of both the Disability Awareness and Families networks, demonstrating her commitment to building inclusive workplaces.
