Catherine is the most senior female partner at a national law firm with over 1100 staff, with responsibility for one of the areas of specialty (employment and safety). She develops business plans, career mapping (and goal setting) and standards of service for a team of 65 lawyers. Her role requires her to be the central point of contact for some of the Firms largest clients across a range of industries. She champions gender equity in the Firm and is central to achieving gender parity in senior leadership positions.

She is a mentor to many senior female leaders in the Firm. She is the Chair of the Board of Newcastle Grammar School, the leading independent school in the Hunter and in the last 2 years has recruited a new CEO, and steered the expansion of the student population and an ambitious capital works program.
