Bess is a Director of Clark and Clark, and is Deputy Chair of Tasmanian Leaders. She is CEO of TasRex, a start-up Tasmanian renewable energy business working to build a cleaner future for generations to come. Bess has held roles in the energy and water sectors over the last 25 years, including CEO of Marinus Link, executive roles at TasNetworks and Transend, and a range of roles at Sydney Water. Bess started her professional career on the Sydney Water graduate program with a number of interesting roles there, including Olympic Operations Manager and a secondment to the Office of the Minister. Bess is a mum of two, supported in life by her husband Paul. She’s a proud Tasmanian, and a member of an entrepreneurial, community-minded and neuro-diverse family with links to farming, golf, whisky, and tourism.
