Ally has forged a strong career in the media over the last 20+ years. Ally grew up moving around regional Australia and, at a young age, fell in love with Radio stations, joining the local station 2AY for work experience in 1996.

Ally left Albury in early 2015 and made Hobart her home. In August 2020 Ally was appointed Executive General Manager for Tasmania and Victoria, having direct responsibility for key decisions that will optimise and will drive the strategic direction of the SCA at a regional level to achieve optimal business results, while fostering a positive and supportive organisational culture that incorporates the SCA values.

In September 2023 Ally received a promotion within SCA with her role now overseeing South Australia and the Northern Territory in addition to Tasmania and Victoria. This change unites all SCA represented Channel 7 assets under Ally’s leadership.

Ally is a proud member of the Tasmanian community and is a Board Member for Dress for Success, Tennis Tasmania and St Virgil’s College.

Ally has completed the Camino De Santiago in Spain twice now, the first time raising over $30,000 for Fight Cancer Foundation and the second with her eldest son in 2023. Ally has been fortunate enough to have engaged with many not-for-profit organisations throughout her career.

Ally is a married mother with two boys who is passionate about AFL. Ally’s favourite pastimes include visiting Bruny Island, crocheting and sewing.
