Dr Alla Kolganova is a senior investment executive with more than 25 years of experience in global financial markets. Dr Kolganova was a Principal (a board-elected senior leader) at Vanguard, one of the world’s largest and most respected investment management companies. She was named one of the 10 Melbourne’s most influential money managers by SMH (2007). Her previous appointments included the FTSE Russell Policy Advisory Board, the FTSE Russell Asia Regional Equity Advisory Committee, and the Information Committee of APREA. She served as a board member and an investment committee member of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation. She currently serves on the investment committee of the Austin Medical Research Foundation. Alla is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and helped to develop careers of many women in investments.

Dr Kolganova holds a PhD (Mathematics), Master of Science (Cybernetics) and a Master in Applied Positive Psychology. She is a CFA Charterholder, holds GARP’s SCR (Sustainability and Climate Risk) accreditation and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Alla is an alumnus of Leadership Victoria’s Williamson Community Leadership Program.
