Alexa Monahan is the co-founder of Good Juju Body & Home, an indie beauty and clean living brand based in Vancouver, BC. For the past five years, Alexa has been dedicated to growing the brand online and in retail across Canada and the US.

Prior to Good Juju, Alexa was a twenty-five-year veteran of the retail health food industry in Canada. As one of the founders of Nature’s Fare Markets, one of the most successful independent health food retailers in Canada, Alexa has experience in all areas of retail, with over ten years of experience in executive-level positions in strategy, purchasing, food service, and finance. Alexa most recently held the title of Director of Marketing and was a member of the advisory board before her family sold the company to the Jim Pattison group in 2019.

Alexa served for six years on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Health Food Association. During her tenure on the board she formed strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, brokers, and other retailers from across Canada. She also gained experience in government relations and became well versed in the regulatory environment for Natural Health Products. Alexa holds a BComm Hons. degree from the University of Victoria.
