and What They Take Away

"My employer liquidated at the start of June, and I am still seeking my next role. I have been doing some contracting but the pipeline is empty/uncertain currently.
Fantastic walk with great women! I received a practical tip to set myself a joy calendar! And to also give more thought to strategic direction/passions and the work I want to be doing, rather than just what I'm good at."
⎯ Jessica, Christchurch mentee

"How can I demonstrate people leadership without having held a people leader role?
My mentor answered my question directly and gave me other advice to consider getting some coaching before applying for my next job."
⎯ Sheena, Christchurch mentee

"I'd like to talk about networking, how to get the right job, and eventually getting into a leadership role in healthcare.
It was a helpful time, and I got the tip to be intentional and talk to people and connect more with others to gain some clarity."
⎯ Anushka, Christchurch mentee

"I would like to talk about creative ways to get more eyes on my slow fashion clothing label while still working with a tight budget and without compromising my values.
Heard a mindset tweak I can apply for when perceived negative things happen, look for the good that will come out of it. Also got tips on how to stand out when approaching the press."
⎯ Merlyn, Christchurch mentee
