Nicola is the founder of My Property Circles and Bricks for Chicks in Australia and New Zealand, helping people invest together in property, and assisting women with matched funding to get a foothold in property investing. She is the founder of the Spotcheck Systems app and on-site tag system which ensures critical checks get done on time, and co-founder of SchoolPaC helping Parent and Citizen Associations engage better with their schools and communities. Nicola also founded The Cheeky Beans Cafe/s operating in New Zealand in multiple swimming centres, and was the creator of Wasabi Warriors (sushi outlets) and Kick Juice Bars operating throughout Australia.
Nicola was one of Smart Company’s Eight Entrepreneurs to watch in 2015, and in the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Class of 2015. She founded, raised capital, and launched Ready Fund Go (crowdfunding for Australian business) in 2013, and exited in 2016 with a sale to a member of the strategic board. In 2016/2017 she facilitated, and drove the acquisition, and capital raising of The Cheesecake Shop to Singapore investors, with capital raised in excess of $100million through her personal and business connections.
Nicola continues to mentor start-up businesses and is keenly interested in businesses that drive profit through purpose.
