Narelle Hooper

Narelle grew up in country NSW, where her family ran a dairy farm and a pub, and her mum worked nightshift as a maternity sister. She has worked for more than 25 years in business across print, radio, TV and digital media at the Australian Financial Review, Fairfax Media, the ABC and SBS TV.
She’s currently Editor-in-Chief of the AICD's Company Director magazine and is a non executive director of The Ethics Centre. She is an adviser to mwah.live, a startup on a mission to make work absolutely human, and to innovation sharing platform, Idea Spies.
Narelle is co author of (Federation Press) which shows how diversity can drive innovation and sustainable growth.
A former editor of the Financial Review’s BOSS Magazine, she was also founding co-chair of the Financial Review Women of Influence awards and is a former director of Documentary Australia Foundation and the Tasmanian Development Board.
