Michelle Dixon is a partner of Maddocks lawyers. She is a highly regarded litigation lawyer, having worked in a wide range of disputes with a particular expertise in corporations matters, competition claims and trusts disputes.

Between 2014 and 2020 Michelle was Maddocks’ CEO. She has extensive governance experience as a Non Executive Director and is currently a director of In-Life Independent Living Limited and Global Sisters Limited, a member of the advisory boards of The Nature Conservancy Australia and Women and Leadership Australia, and a Member of the Legal Practitioners Liability Committee.

Michelle has been listed as a leading litigation lawyer in Best Lawyers each year from 2014. She has also been recognised in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Doyles. In 2015 she was named as one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence.

She was the 2016 recipient of the Victorian Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership and received the award for Executive of the Year in the 2016 Lawyer's Weekly Women in Law Awards. In 2019 she was named as NSW Women Lawyers’ Change Champion of the Year.
