Emma-Jane Newton is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division based in Sydney. She has extensive experience over two decades advising corporate and private equity clients onmergers, acquisitions, and capital raisings having worked in Australia, New York and London.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Emma-Jane held several senior executive positions at Telstra including as a Divisional CFO and leading Corporate Development. Earlier in her career, she served as an investment banker at Credit Suisse gaining valuable experience across advisory and capital markets teams.
Emma-Jane has a deep passion for culture and the arts and was appointed to the Sydney Dance Company Board in 2018 and also served as Chair of Audit and Risk, and as the Deputy Chair.
Emma-Jane is a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel and Chief Executive Women. Emma-Jane holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Monash University.
