As a passionate, innovative change-leader, Dale transforms health services to improve patient outcomes and experiences. Dale started at the Silver Chain Group in late 2018. Prior to that she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer treatment, research and education and home to Australia’s largest cancer research program. Prior to joining Peter Mac, Ms Fisher was Chief Executive of The Royal Women’s Hospital for nine years. In recognition of her achievements in leadership and promoting excellence in women’s health to the Victorian community, Dale was inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women in 2011 as part of the centenary celebrations for International Women’s Day. Ms Fisher is also a Board member of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC); the Committee for Melbourne and of the Centre for workplace Leadership Advisory Board; and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives. In March 2016, she was appointed as Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine, Monash University, and in October 2017, was awarded a Monash University Fellowship.
